The advantages of permanent mould casting compared to classic sand casting are, in particular, the high cooling rates. These give the castings a relatively fine-grained and dense structure that is able to withstand significantly higher mechanical loads.

Moreover, gravity die casting stands out by relatively thin-walled and excellent castability with high measurement accuracy in the range of one tenth, which allows us to implement even highly complex housing structures.

Gravity die castings have always been manufactured from brass.
We too have been working with brass ever since the company was founded in 1954. As a consequence, we can fall back on extensive expertise and experience with regard to this material.

Aluminium challenges the process of gravity die casting and requires knowledge of the material. Compared to other metal parts, aluminium parts are light but nevertheless able to achieve high strength. Our aluminium castings are used in a wide range of industries.

Through intense development work, we have succeeded in casting the new material CUPHIN for virtually all imaginable moulds and applications.
